The Art of Fashion is a multiple page advertising insert published in Vogue, W, Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar, as well as Neiman Marcus' The Book in the Spring and Fall.  It is an ongoing series first photographed by Richard Avedon in 1994, followed by Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, and continuing over the years with, to name a few, Albert Watson, Tim Walker, Norman Jean Roy, Nadav Kander, Erik Madigan Heck, and Ruven Afanador.  The photographers are chosen for their creative thinking and may not be known for their fashion work exclusively, such as myself.  I've photographed the series twice- first for Fall 1995 for the 4th edition,  and now 22 years later the 44th edition for Spring 2017.
